The East Borneo International Folklore Festival (EBIFF) lit up Samarinda from July 26-30, 2024, in a dazzling display of cultural exchange and tradition. This year's festival featured captivating performances of traditional music and dance from the USA, Bulgaria, Japan, Egypt, and Poland. Adding to the excitement, performers from across Indonesia, including Malinau, Pinrang, Kaloka, Palu, Kulon Progo, Bangka Belitung, and DKI Jakarta, showcased their local heritage with pride.

In true CIOFF Indonesia fashion, EBIFF was not just about performances. The festival offered a range of engaging activities like tree planting, hands-on workshops, and the much-anticipated "Countries Night," where guest nations had the opportunity to share and teach their unique cultural traditions in a more intimate setting.
